15. Salar de Uyuni – Bolivia
Once a South American lake, tens of thousands of years ago, Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia is now the world’s largest salt flat. It is also a source of minerals, salts, and lithium. Salar de Uyuni covers an area of around 10,500 square kilometers and is another stunning natural wonder that visible from outer-space. In the dry season, geometric salt patterns form. In the wet season, rainwater creates a mirror-like surface stretching as far as your eyes can see.
