7. Skorpios Island, Greece
Skorpios Island, off the west coast of Greece, is soon to be under redevelopment into a luxury resort. Once owned by Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis, the island is now in the hands of a Russian family. The new resort, said to be commencing in 2018, includes plans for high-quality villas, spas, and a marina to blend in with the natural environment.
